Keen to start own IT business – need advice?
Hello.
I am keen to start my own Computer related shop.
Where I live there was a shop but it is closed down now, I think it could be the right size for my shop.
I have no business skills, well I have never run my own shop, but I do have 3 hours of retail experience.
My market would cover PC/Mac accessories, perhaps even PC/Mac themselves, there would 2 or 3 computers for internet usage (internet cafe) and from there I would also offer web development/software development.
What I need advice on is
1) Do you think that is enough to offer to break even?
2) How can I find out how much the shop would cost to rent?
3) Is there a lot of red tape for owning/running business?
4) Any other advice you feel beneficial.

Im 13, and want to start my own business to get some money . Any ideas / advice ?
im 13 and know that when im older i want to run a business. im not quite sure what business, but im sure i'll know soon. at the moment, im not getting pocket money and dont have a paper round, so am pretty skint and in desperate need of money.

With all the doom and gloom going around, I need some advice on starting a business to make some extra money. I came up with the idea of making tea pots from chocolate, you know maybe a few different flavours, dark chocolate, cream chocolate, nuts,no nuts etc. What do you think, would it be doable?

I have done some research and there doesnt seem to be anything like this on the market at the moment.
I was thinking of selling on ebay but worried that others will copy. I know some things can be patent but not sure about this.
How do I approach prospective shops/venues to sell or at least allow me to advertise my item.
Is there normally a charge for shops/venues advertising my item and if so what is a good %

Any advice on getting a business loan for a start up?
I have been working on my business plan and i am almost all set. But now i am worried about trying to get a bank loan. I quit my job because i wanted to concentrate on my business and because it wasnt for me. But now i have no income and no real assets. I am only 24 and have no real savings or anything. Will banks even concider me for a loan even though my business plan is really good?
